Founder Of Feed Thy Neighbor

After a long and courageous battle, Anthony Frank Mansolillo of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the age of 80.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Anna Mansolillo of Providence, Rhode Island and Annette D’Antuono of Norwich, CT. Anthony, known to many as Tony, leaves behind his beloved family: Joanne Mansolillo, Terry (Lorie) Mann, Melissa (Bill) Singer, Vincent Mansolillo, and Marie Almagno; his grandson, Anthony William Singer; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will deeply miss his vibrant personality and generous spirit.
Anthony was a passionate, gregarious man who cherished being surrounded by family and friends. He took immense pride in his Italian-American heritage, especially the traditions of food, fellowship, and storytelling that defined so much of his life. His happiest moments were spent gathered around a table with loved ones, sharing meals, laughter, and memories.
Anthony's professional life was varied and accomplished. He served in the United States Air Force before building careers as an auctioneer and appraiser of fine art and antiques, and later as a real estate developer. Yet when asked about his life's work, Anthony would always say that his greatest achievement was founding the Southwest Florida charity, Feed Thy Neighbor.
Through Feed Thy Neighbor, Anthony's love of food and people came together in service to others. What began as a conversation about sharing recipes during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 evolved into a mission dedicated to feeding and caring for underserved individuals and families in Naples, Bonita Springs, and Fort Myers. The organization now serves more than 300 hot, nutritious meals each day and is enjoying a season of expansion.
In recent years, Anthony and his son Vincent expanded the charity's mission to include providing clothing, backpacks, Christmas toys, diapers, and other everyday necessities to those in need. Wherever there was need, that was where Anthony focused his efforts—especially for his favorites, as he affectionately called them, “his babies,” the little ones, and the kids. Caring for children and helping provide them with opportunities and essentials brought him immense joy and purpose.
Anthony's legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and through the continuing work of Feed Thy Neighbor. A celebration of Anthony's life will be held in the coming months. Memorial service information will be announced at feedthyneighbor.us.
